New song - Georgie Boy - released today!
We're so happy to release our new song ‘Georgie Boy’, a song about challenging inherited toxic masculinity.
‘Georgie Boy’ is inspired by a road trip with the “lads” through Finland. One night, in the middle of the woods and on the shore of a frozen lake, they got chatting about masculinity. Where does it come from? What’s bad about it? What’s good about it? The song picks up where this conversation left off.
A24’s films Men and The VVitch provide inspiration for the music video, staring Pembrokeshire actor and comedian Liam McKenna as an unsettling green man club singer. The video plays on the themes of the song, exploring masculinity as a performance. It was filmed by Kristian Dando and edited by Rob Tovey.
‘Georgie Boy’ was recorded at King’s Road Studios, Cardiff, and mastered by Charlie Francis.
Please do share it with anyone you think will love it and give it a like. All that really helps people come across us who wouldn't normally. Without a record label and big budget that's the only way that happens.
It's also available on:
